The exhibition features 56 works about flowers selected from a collection that KOCEF has accumulated over the past 20 years. It introduces ceramics as a craft and art that brings happiness and joy into our everyday living.

Flower vases were once a luxury enjoyed only by those few who could afford to decorate interiors with expensive seasonal flowers. Today, vases are used as props to fill space with beauty even without flowers. Vases of all sorts designed to satisfy the diverse aesthetic tastes of the general public are testimony to the huge progressive changes in our perception of lifestyle.
Flower Vases aspires to introduce the aesthetic functionality of vases and ceramics as expression pursued by ceramic artists. We hope that this exhibition helps bring more beauty into our lifestyle like flowers in vases.

• One-time class: Making pressed flower cards and bookmarks
  One class three times a day for 40 to 45 minutes at 10:30, 13:30, and 15:00 every Saturday from November 18 through December 16.
  • Number of students per class : Fifteen
  • Place : Hands-on activity space at the exit of Gallery 1
  • Each participant need only pay \3,000 to cover the cost of materials.

    2) 2) Inquire at the Information Desk at Icheon World Ceramic Center on the day of the class.
