As Korea’s only institution specialized in ceramics, the Korea Ceramic Foundation is committed to achieving its goals of building a strong foundation for vitalization of ceramic culture, establishing a basis for the growth of the ceramic industry, and expanding cooperation networks in the ceramic industry.

At its museums and galleries specialized in ceramics, the Foundation strives to discover a wider range of ceramics contents for the digital age and carries out various projects including hands-on education programs. It seeks nothing less than to make the Ceramic Foundation a place people love to visit.

To help ceramic artists become more competitive and to accelerate the growth of ceramic industry, the Foundation provides support for research and development as well as exploration of domestic and global markets, and it promotes the ongoing development of the ceramic industry by establishing various industrial platforms.

As a public institution, the Foundation will also fulfill its social responsibility by leading ESG management, ethical management, clean management, and human rights management, aiming to become an institution trusted and loved by the people.

The year 2024 will celebrate the 12thedition of GYEONGGI CERAMICS BIENNALE We at the KOCEF are doing our best to make Gyeonggi-do Province a hub of the global ceramic culture.

We will fulfill our roles and responsibilities so that Korea’s proud ceramic culture can lead the global ceramic industry.
