This is the seventh event of “100 Ceramists of Korea Livingware,” highlighting “Korean tea vessels.” Under the theme of “Review the old and know the new,” an old saying in East Asia, ceramists who focus on creating tea utensils have been invited to present their works. These are ceramists who have continued the tradition yet modified tea utensils in a contemporary manner. Six ceramists have been invited to take part in the seventh Exhibition of Korean Livingware by 100 Ceramists who, respectively, specialize in pure white porcelain, tea bowls of Joseon, buncheong ware, ancient white porcelain, moon jar, and unglazed tea bowls, and carry on the tradition of Korean ceramics. The exhibition features six different facets of Korean tea vessels and their unique colors.
