Relay Invitational Exhibition I is a special exhibition of works by recognized Korean artists working on functional ceramics.
This is the first of a series of exhibitions that will continue for several years. Three or four exhibitions will run a year until one hundred established artists have been presented. This first exhibition will feature six well-known artists working in Yeoju and will run from April 21 to July 1.

The exhibition series intends to present ceramic works of the free, new styles of all these one hundred artists.
Craftsmanship is increasingly giving way to machine-made products in modern society. Upholding craftsmanship before the onslaught of consumer goods means that skilled ceramic artists are needed all the more. This exhibition series is expected to mark a new milestone in the Korean ceramic art world and show the authenticity of true craftsmanship in ceramics.
