The International Ceramics Workshop of GICB is a ceramics cultural exchange program held in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do Province, the center of Korean ceramic culture and a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Under the theme of ‘Making Narrative,’ artists from all over the world get together to explore ceramic art and create a scene of art in which each artist makes his or her own narrative through exchange with others. Through this workshop, we intend make the cultural assets of Gyeonggi-do Province known to the world, share diverse cultures of the world, and increase the diversity of ceramics. By doing so, we aspire to suggest a new vision for ceramic art. This workshop program consists of Mentoring Camp, Together Camp and Research Camp.
